YOUR SPACE: Spacious feeling 600 square feet, bright, open, one bedroom unit with multiple windows to provide ample natural light. Wood laminate flooring, dishwasher, granite counter tops, stainless appliances, and a sizable bathroom/shower. Rent has been priced to include water/sewer, garbage and wifi. This space looks even better than the pictures. Did we mention free (and safe/easy/close) street parking right out front with a locking shed for bikes out back?
SHARED AMMENITIES: Laundry room with washer/dryer & utility sink, wireless internet, safe/convenient locking bike shed, easy street parking, and covered front/back patio. Potential organic garden share with occasional use of BBQ and occasional hot tub use.
OUR NEIGHBORHOOD: Approx 1 ¼ mi from Mt Tabor Summit, less than a mile from Safeway & Natural Grocers. Less than 2 miles from Trader Joes, New Seasons. PSU/OHSU less than 5 miles, PCC/Warner Pacific College within 1/2 mile. Easy bus/bike: Powell, Division, 52nd, 50th, right off Woodward/Clinton/52nd bike routes. We live right off the Woodward/Clinton bike route, in bikers paradise, with a bike score of 99. Just a few blocks from a great coffee shop with wireless & a stroll down the bike route to dinner on “D-Street.”
OUR SPACIOUS HOME: We live upstiars in a 3 bedroom/2bath home, spread across 2800 sq ft on 3 floors with the lower unit available as a new self-contained 1 bedroom ADU apartment. We have front/back porch seating, and side entrance with easy parking. We are environmentally conscious, practice non-violent communication (NVC) and are practically fragrance/chemical free. Our home is a shoe-free, drug-free, smoke-free zone. Our front yard is an organic garden, so there is potential for garden sharing possibilities.
WHO ELSE LIVES ON THE PROPERTY? A professional couple (homeowner) live on the top floor with two responsible young men on the main floor. Everyone here is respectful, considerate, health conscious, clean/tidy motivated, active, communicative, and responsible. We enjoy hiking, biking, backpacking, music, dance, reading and cats. It is almost always quiet between 10pm and 7am.
AVAILABLE: Available as early as 6/1, but move-in is flexible, as we are willing to wait for when the right person/people is/are available
MONTHLY COSTS: $1,625 including water/sewer, garbage, wireless, laundry, bicycle storage & parking.
MOVE IN COST: First month (prorated) plus last month, and $1000 security deposit. Six month minimum stay requested. Move in costs can be split between two months, if needed. 50% of the security deposit is refundable upon move-out for renters who stay at least 6 months, provide a 30 day notice and leave the unit clean/damage free. Proof of credit and background check required. We are willing to be flexible and wait until the right person shows up.
